We at Wilgewandel Holiday Farm, are forming a platform with the Pioneers and Teambuilding Programme to help educate the leaders of tomorrow by means of cultural and Natural Heritage ("Walk in the footsteps of your forefathers"). A team of well trained facilitators will motivate the learners to enhance each individual's personal self-awareness and self-esteem. This will help them to be better citizens in a multi-racial and religious society like South Africa and also to make the correct choices in life as to academics, sport and careers.
South Africa is experiencing turbulent times. Socio-economic problems like unemployment and poverty is weakening our democratic society, whilst crime and violence is further sickening the soul of our rainbow nation. However, in the words of a very famous religious leader and pioneer for peace - Mohattma Gandhi - "Be the change you want to see in the world" - we can still be hopeful for a better tomorrow. We need to start gaining hope with the youth of our country, for they form the foundation of our rainbow soul. They need to be led and educated, so that they can lead us to a better tomorrow.
